Content I created as the Associate Projection Designer for A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Julie Taymor for the inaugural production for Theater for a New Audience in Brooklyn in 2013.
Below is Puck's animal transitions which appeared in "shadow" magically mimicking the actor's movements. Audio in this clip is from a rehearsal recording with the text spoken live in performance by Kathryn Hunter who played Puck.
To the right is the purple flower I animated to bloom open, flutter and burst into purple color. To the right also is the tree from which Puck emerges to create the trunk.

These are excerpts from the trailer for the filmed version of the stage play directed by Julie Taymor at Theater for A New Audience in 2013. I chose clips from the trailer that highlight moments of the projection design that I had a hand in. Included are the purple flower I animated to grow, breathe, and burst into purple. I also helped to animate the growing tree and branches you see later in the trailer. The projection designer for this show was Sven Ortel.
